Dr. Robert L. Spence is a board-certified Emergency Physician with over 25 years of experience in emergency medicine, aerospace operations, and critical care. He currently practices in Las Vegas, Nevada with Envision Physician Services, staffing multiple emergency departments across the Valley Health System. A retired U.S. Air Force Lieutenant Colonel and former Army officer, Dr. Spence brings two decades of military medical and aerospace experience to his civilian practice.
He holds degrees in Electrical Engineering (B.S., Rose-Hulman; M.S., University of Illinois) and earned his M.D. from the University of Missouri School of Medicine. His diverse background spans medical education, humanitarian missions, and aerospace medicine research.
